Trojan , o "Cavallo di Troia" sono molto dannosi, distruttivi e fatali.
Spyware , sono dei virus che permettono di dare informazioni del sistema ospite al diretto interessato.
Hijacker , sono dei piccoli programmini che, attraverso i browser, aprono pagine web indesiderate.
Adware , sono software che trasmettono messaggi pubblicitari, causando notevoli danni, come il rallentamento del PC.
Batch , non sempre dannosi, questi malware non vengono sempre riconosciuti pericolosi dall'antivirus, perchè non sono sempre dannosi. Il danno arriva quando un utente lo crea con lo scopo di formattare il PC.
Rogue antispyware , questo virus è stato creato apposta per costringere l'utente a comprare la licenza di un programma.
Questi virus nominati, come abbiamo già detto sono dei malware, a differenza degli spyware che sono piccoli virus che entrano attraverso ai siti che noi visitiamo.
