L' Excel è un programma che serve per calcolare e anche per archiviare. L'Excel come altri programmi del genere vengono chiamati Foglio di calcolo . Come tutti i programmi dell'Office, c'è il Pulsante Office che conserva tutte le opzioni which were contained in the File menu of the Office 2003. Infine ci sono i DVD (Digital Versatile Disk), la loro forma è simile a quella di un CD, ma hanno una memoria molto più grande: arriva fino ai 17 Gb. Sono divisi in DVD-R che una volta scritto, diventa di sola lettura; e poi ci sono i DVD-RW , cioè che sono riscrivibili.
C'è anche un Disco magneto-ottico di nome MOD (Magneto Optical Disk) o solo MO e vengono letti magniticamente, ma scritti con un laser. Questi sfiorano la memoria di 1 Tb.
